This landscape design is for the headquarters of the Brooks running shoe company, and is located in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle. As a junior designer on this project, I was responsible for the design and drafting of site furnishings, street level plantings, and overall site framework and circulation. The site design includes a series of interconnected plazas, and the furnishing design and placement encourages interaction and creative use. The illuminated steel-framed benches are constructed from timber reclaimed from the building previously on site, as well as recycled rubber lumber.
